An orchid cup made of porcelain using the gypsum molding technique in the original dimensions of the familiar cottage cup. The images, graphic design and writing are designed in Photoshop. And were printed on a decal printer. The spoon was designed in Rhino software and printed on a three-dimensional plastic printer. When the spoon is placed on the rim of the vessel, it is reminiscent of the shape of the metal buckets used in the early years in the country, to preserve milk. This was my inspiration for the shape of the spoon. I chose to make a vessel for an orchid drink, because in those first years, the residents of the Arab settlement in the country invited the Jews to visit them and it was part of what they served.I loved the fact that there was unity and sharing between them.
